Lettice and Lovage by Peter Shaffer is a hilarious, satirical comedy about Lettice Douffet, an eccentric, history-obsessed tour guide who embellishes facts for tourists. When a strict preservationist, Lotte Schoen, fires her for lying, the two clash—only to form an unlikely bond over a shared disdain for the modern world.
